We recommend Maintenance Oil for the maintenance of all of our oiled wood floors to help keep your floor in pristine condition and provide added protection from foot traffic, dirt particles and spillages.
For best results, apply one coat following installation of your oiled wood floor and then at yearly intervals to keep your floor looking as good as new. This Maintenance Oil can also be applied as a spot treatment if a smaller section of your floor needs sanding and refinishing.
1 litre of oil covers around 70 sqm, dependent on the surface of the floor.
How To Use
Maintenance Oil is ready to use. The ground surface must be dry and free of dust and grease. First clean the surface with a neutral cleaner (such as Parquet Cleaner) and let it dry. Apply Maintenance Oil onto small areas in a thin and even layer with a cloth with the grain of the wood. For larger areas we recommend using a buffing machine. Dribble the Maintenance Oil on the surface in the shape of a snake and polish it in with a cloth or buffing machine.
