Here at Knot & Grain, we're not just any wood flooring company. Our founders have spent over two decades working in the retail flooring industry, selling all manner of floors to the British public. Over these years, we honed our love of wood, and today we like to think that we are quite the connoisseurs. We cherish every grain, value every knot, and have an enduring love for the warmth and character that only a wood floor can bring to a home.

In our years of assisting customers face-to-face in our retail showrooms, we discovered a common thread—finding the perfect wood floor can be quite the puzzle. From the plethora of plank sizes to the spectrum of colours, and the perplexing variants of surface finishes and wood grades, we recognised the challenges and confusion that could stump even the savviest of shoppers —especially when the search goes online. And just like that, the seeds for Knot & Grain were sown.
